Earlier this spring, we were in New Orleans to play the French Quarter Festival.  Not only did we play the festival - but we also had an on-air appearance on WWOZ radio, and an in-store set at Louisiana Music Factory.

Some highlights of the past decade include, but are not limited to:  releasing three full-length albums; club shows locally at First Avenue, Cabooze, Times Bar, O'Gara's, Famous Dave's, Nomad; festival appearances at the Great American Brass Band Festival, Jazz Winnipeg, BRASS Durham International Festival in England,  10,000 Lakes Festival (10KLF); countless parade appearances; and playing with some of the best in the music business (including Preservation Hall, Rebirth Brass Band, Gangbe Brass Band [from Africa], Tower of Power, Buckwheat Zydeco, Anders Osborne, Doctor John, Chubby Carrier, Tab Benoit, Taj Mahal); airplay/interviews and live studio appearances on The Current , MPR's Jazz Image, KBEM, KFAI, Cities97, XM Satellite Radio, and WWOZ in New Orleans;  television appearances on WCCO, KARE-11, and TNT; articles by City Pages,  Star Tribune, New Orleans' OffBEAT, JazzReview.com, and All About Jazz; 2004 Minnesota Music Award winners for Specialist Group/Artist, and a 2006 finalist  for Eclectic Group/Artist.
